Head in the clouds (afloat)

2020

An installation piece that was wrapped up in 2020. “Afloat” offers the audience a rest inside a cloud.

“I was told I was weary, buoyant even. That if I would not be held down I would simply ascend. Might the particles in my head take on forms slightly lighter then air, and treat my body to a tour trough the sky. Plug my fingers in my ears, hold my breath, close my nose. Clench my eyelids; still the thoughts in my head would come pouring out one by one. And as my brain started leaking I would slowly descend. Have my feet experience unwillingly the sensation of solid ground. Home they’d call it. Back on earth, with my head in the clouds.”
